Methodology
Calculation method
The converter uses the exact relationship 1 foot = 0.3048 meter, which is 304.8 millimeters per foot [1]. In feet-only mode, it multiplies the entered feet value by 304.8. In feet-and-inches mode, it first turns inches into part of a foot, adds that to the feet part, and then converts the total to millimeters.

Mini example
