- This converter handles volume only. It does not convert weight ounces, mass, or ingredient density.
- Results depend on the Fluid ounce type you choose. US, UK imperial, and US nutrition label fluid ounces are not the same size.
- Approximate measuring amount is a convenience estimate using common kitchen fractions, so it may not match the exact decimal result.
- Decimal places changes only how the answer is displayed. Internal math stays at full precision.
- Negative values are not allowed on this page because the tool is meant for non-negative volume amounts.
- Very small non-zero values can look like 0 when rounded heavily, especially if Decimal places is set to 0.

Worked mini-example
